The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to promote next month's bout.
Former two time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually happening.
